SESSION 2: Artificial Intelligence Applications for Vehicles

Artificial Intelligence is prevalent everywhere in our lives both personal and in business; it is rapidly expanding in applications and influence. This session will provide an overview of AI, specifically focused on applications for vehicles. Panelists will discuss current and planned developments, collaborative and standards activities, and gaps needing to be addressed that will support the implementation, validation, deployment and management of AI technology for the safe, secure, and efficient operation of ground vehicles and transportation infrastructure. Additionally, the session will explore how automotive AI-based applications are reshaping human interactions within and around vehicles, addressing the evolving dynamics with drivers, passengers and individuals outside the vehicles.
