Mike Braisher
Mike Braisher holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Science and a DPhil in vehicle particle emissions. After completing his academic studies, Mike joined Jaguar Land Rover, initially working in the vehicle emissions laboratory for two years. This role served as a foundation for his subsequent focus on global emissions regulations for a further six years, including representing the company in various industry working groups and international expert groups. In 2019, Mike moved to the United Kingdom’s Department for Transport. In this role, he has been focusing on the development of regulatory standards for automated vehicles, merging his technical expertise with policy development. Part of his work involves managing research projects that aid in shaping informed policies in the field of vehicle automation. Mike also chairs the British Standards Institution committee AUE/15 on road vehicle safety.
