Yun-Jun Choi

After his Ph.D at KAIST(Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), he has been worked for Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH) as a principle researcher. His current research interests are V2X supported connected automated driving system, and infrastructure supported VRU safety system. Since 2016, he has been involved in ISO/TC204 WG17 / SWG17.1 as convenor as well as involved in SAE V2X Core TC as an expert from 2022.

Since 2017, he has been involved in various Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe research programs, as well as KR-US, KR-CZ, KR-UK bilateral projects in the topics of 5G based CCAM (Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility) topics including remote controlled vehicle, cybersecurity and federated network.
