Jongsoon Lim

Mr. Jongsoon Lim is a Principal Researcher at the Korea Transportation Safety Authority (KOTSA), where he has been working since 2003. He has been actively participating as the representative of the ACPE in Korea and working to harmonize UN standards with Korean vehicle safety standards since 2018. Since the same year, he has also served as the head representative of the GRVA in UNECE WP.29 and has been a Korean delegate to GRPE since 2013. From 2018 to 2021, he worked as the first representative at the Geneva Office of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority. He has played a significant role in UNECE WP.29, particularly in the Vehicle Interior Air Quality (VIAQ) initiative. As the first chairman of the VIAQ Informal Working Group, he led efforts to develop Mutual Resolution (M.R.3), contributing to global harmonization in vehicle regulations.
