Frank Han
Frank Han is a senior expert in the field of information and communication technology. He has more than 20 years of experience in the design and development of heavyweights of commercial products in the information and communication industry. Currently, he is the chief software architect of Changan Automobile, responsible for the overall technical direction planning of the company’s software defined vehicles, coordinating related technical research projects in the software field, and leading the design and development of Changan’s new-generation automobile software platform.
In 2020 IEEE 20th International Conference on Software Quality, Reliability and Security Companion (QRS-C), Frank presented VEC-OF (Vehicle-Edge-Cloud Open Framework), a new data and AI centric vehicle software framework producing a much safer, more efficient, connectable, and trustable MaaS through cooperative vehicle, infrastructure and cloud capabilities and intelligence.
He advocates the use of Ethernet Ring Network architecture in the new generation of automotive architecture to meet the real-time requirements of big data and improve the reliability of information transmission. In addition, he led the team to build the vehicle SOA service bus and realized the all-domain deployment of DDS.
