Edward McGlone

Edward McGlone is Einride’s Senior Director of Government Affairs in North America and focuses on automation policy, safety, and freight electrification programs. He has advisedCabinet Secretaries, Members of Congress, and public agency  executives on issues ranging from legislative affairs to climate policy and transit operations. He has passed landmark legislation at the federal and state levels and is a keen strategist. Previously, Edward helped pass the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Congressional Affairs serving Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. He also served as senior staff to the US House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure covering a wide portfolio of issues. A native of Portland, OR and a resident of Washington DC, Edward cares deeply about transportation safety and equity and is an avid cyclist. He can be spotted at soccer games, riding his bike, or hosting friends for a dinner party.
