Alex Vukotich
Alejandro (Alex) Vukotich serves as Vice President, Product Management, Automotive at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. where he is responsible for Qualcomm’s global advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS)/autonomous driving (AD) roadmap and ecosystem. He works with internal SoC, product platform, software and stack teams, as well as external customers and partners, to successfully drive and scale Qualcomm Technologies ADAS and AD efforts. Alex joined Qualcomm in 2021 and is a seasoned leader in the automotive industry. He brings more than 20 years of experience developing and successfully commercializing driver assistance and safety systems. He led these departments and the ADAS system developments for Audi and the Volkswagen Group, and subsequently, the BMW Group. Alex and his teams were responsible for launching many first-to-market automotive technologies and customer functions, including the first central ADAS control unit (zFAS) and the first mass-produced lidar sensor in the current Audi A8. Alex holds various degrees, including a MSc in electrical engineering from Technical University Darmstadt in Germany, and is fluent in German, Portuguese, English and Spanish
