Maria J. Alonso

Dr Maria J. Alonso leads the Autonomous Mobility portfolio at the World Economic Forum. Prior to joining the Forum, she worked for the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, and for the World Bank. She also has experience in the private sector, having worked for a large infrastructure company and for a transport consultancy boutique. Dr Alonso holds a PhD in new mobility services from Delft University of Technology, a M. Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, and a M.Eng. in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid.
