Dr Jayaseelan Singaravelu is working as Acting Director with the National Traffic Safety Committee, MOI, and Ministry of Transport, Government of Qatar. He has a strong academic background with more than 20 years of experience at international organizations such as the United Nations and various government agencies in the fields of Government’s Policy & Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation, Road Safety, Traffic Information System, Traffic data & analysis, Geographic Information System (GIS), Geospatial Data Management, and fulfills the requirements of the Qatar Government & United Nations Decade of Global Plan of Action for Road Safety 2021–2030. He is currently coordinating with United Nations Road Safety Collaboration (UNRSC), Geneva, and UN-ESCWA, Beirut for Road Safety Management and Road Safety Database assignments on behalf of the National Traffic Safety Committee technical advisory team. Dr Jayaseelan has worked for United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Kuwat as Consultant and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), India as Remote Sensing Scientist and other corporates in senior level positions.
